Volleyball Game Preview: Pueblo East Eagles vs. Pueblo South Colts + How To Watch

Pueblo East is a perfect 10-0 against Pueblo South since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Pueblo East's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Pueblo South has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

On Wednesday, Pueblo East got the win against Pueblo Centennial by a conclusive 3-0.

Pueblo East not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pueblo Centennial between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-14.

Pueblo East relied on the efforts of Claire Baker, who had ten digs and two aces, and Jordyn Daniels, who had eight digs. That's the most digs Baker has posted over her last six matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Pueblo East was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 11-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Pueblo South came up short against Pueblo County on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-7.

Pueblo South's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Pueblo East, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
