Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maple Grove). Everything went their way against the Blaine Bengals on Friday as the Maple Grove Crimson made off with a 90-70 win. The Crimson have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Maple Grove is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. Blaine's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-11.

Maple Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-59 victory against Harding on the 24th. As for Blaine, they will challenge Elk River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Blaine's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 matches.
