Baseball Game Preview: Riverside Rams vs. Doane Academy

The Riverside Rams are taking a road trip to challenge Doane Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside will be strutting in after a victory while Doane Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Riverside made easy work of Moorestown Friends and carried off a 15-5 win. Considering the Rams have won six games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Doane Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell 5-2 to Maple Shade. The contest marked Doane Academy's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverside and bumps their season record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Doane Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Riverside might still be hurting after the 12-3 defeat they got from Doane Academy when the teams last played on April 4th. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
