It was a good run, but Lugoff-Elgin unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the A.C. Flora Falcons by a score of 5-4. The Demons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 14-13.

Lugoff-Elgin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Starcher, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Lugoff-Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for A.C. Flora, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coming up, Lugoff-Elgin will face off against Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for A.C. Flora, they will square off against Richland Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
