Bear Grass Charter and Washington are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2017, but not for long. The Bears will square off against the Pam Pack at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Washington took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bear Grass Charter, who comes in off a win.

Bear Grass Charter will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Pamlico County, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hurricanes on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Bear Grass Charter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 16-25, 25-17, 25-19, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Washington didn't have quite enough to beat North Johnston on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Pam Pack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bear Grass Charter's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Bear Grass Charter's way against Washington in their previous meeting back in August, as Bear Grass Charter made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
