Basketball Recap: Peachtree Ridge's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Peachtree Ridge's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 54-47 win over the Meadowcreek Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 49-42 loss.

With the victory, Peachtree Ridge broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-16. As for Meadowcreek, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Peachtree Ridge Lions take on the Parkview Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season. As for Meadowcreek, they will head out to square off against Johns Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meadowcreek is facing Johns Creek at the right time seeing as Johns Creek is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
