Softball Recap: Rehobeth Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Rehobeth had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Enterprise Wildcats on Tuesday. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Rehobeth saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Cobb, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. The dominant performance also gave Cobb a new career-high in hits (two).

Enterprise's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rehobeth will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Enterprise, they will face off against Zion Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
