Weaver won the last time they faced Metropolitan Learning Center and things went their way on Monday too. The Weaver Beavers put the hurt on the Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons with a sharp 66-46 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.

Despite the loss, Metropolitan Learning Center still got an impressive performance from Alijah Grice, who posted 16 points. Grice's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekhi Benjamin, who scored ten points.

Weaver now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Metropolitan Learning Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Weaver will challenge Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Metropolitan Learning Center, they will square off against Academy of Science and Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Academy of Science and Innovation will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Metropolitan Learning Center surely won't give up without a fight.
