Blue Valley Northwest won against Olathe Northwest on Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Blue Valley North Mustangs. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on four straight.

Blue Valley Northwest's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Blue Valley North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Valley Northwest will face off against Blue Springs South at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Blue Valley North, they will challenge Joplin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
