Football Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport's game on Friday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 49-28 to the Mineral Wells Rams. If the Bulls were looking for revenge after losing 35-13 to the Rams when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Bridgeport and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Mineral Wells, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Bridgeport and Mineral Wells could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Bulls (ranked 938th) will meet Graham (ranked 239th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mineral Wells will challenge Brock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (655 vs. 47).
