Softball Recap: Yosemite Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Yosemite was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Caruthers Blue Raiders. The Badgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Yosemite saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Misa, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Yosemite now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Caruthers, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Yosemite has already played their next contest, a 14-0 defeat against Fowler on the 25th. As for Caruthers, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Justin Garza on the 22nd.
