Basketball Game Preview: Valhalla Norsemen vs. Granite Hills Eagles

The Valhalla Norsemen will head out on the road to challenge the Granite Hills Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

On Tuesday, Valhalla beat West Hills 61-52.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills earned a 53-40 victory over El Cajon Valley on Tuesday.

Granite Hills is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Valhalla, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Valhalla and Granite Hills were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but Valhalla came up empty-handed after a 52-51 loss. Can Valhalla avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
