Chestatee lost to George Walton Academy back in August of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The War Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chestatee took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Natalie Sykes and Kylie Rudeseal, who picked up eight kills apiece. Sykes really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. Ellie Tolbert controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chestatee's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for George Walton Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
