New Buffalo takes loss despite strong efforts from Elliott Bourne and Andres Becerra

Recap: New Buffalo Bison vs. Bridgman Bees
After a string of three wins, the New Buffalo Bison's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They suffered a tough 67-45 defeat at the hands of Bridgman. While losing is never fun, New Buffalo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while Bridgman is ranked 224th).
Andres Becerra and Elliott Bourne certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Becerra scored 16 points along with two blocks, while Bourne scored ten points along with two steals. Bourne has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.
New Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bridgman, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
New Buffalo will be playing at home against Countryside Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bridgman, they will head out on the road to take on Michigan Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
