Rancho Cucamonga lost to Claremont back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolfpack, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Rancho Cucamonga was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 21-25, 21-25, 25-14, 15-9.

Rancho Cucamonga's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Claremont, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Rancho Cucamonga will square off against Murrieta Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Claremont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Dimas at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
