Henry County got themselves on the board against Calloway County on Friday, but Calloway County never followed suit. They came out on top against the Lakers by a score of 4-0. The four-run effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lillian Eaton tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Henry County's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Watkins, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Watkins also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another was Audrey Hill, who scored two runs and stole a base.

Henry County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. Calloway County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Henry County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Graves County on the 21st. As for Calloway County, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Henry County on the 21st.
