Football Game Preview: Little Wound Mustangs vs. Todd County Falcons

Little Wound hasn't had much luck against Todd County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Little Wound is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Pine Ridge with a sharp 34-12 win. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, while Todd County put up plenty of points last Saturday, the same can't be said for Flandreau Indian. The Falcons breezed past the Indians to the tune of 80-0. The Falcons' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last three matchups.

Todd County's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Little Wound, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Little Wound suffered a grim 44-20 defeat to Todd County in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
