Soccer Game Preview: North Central vs. Southridge

The North Central Wolfpack will head out to square off against the Southridge Suns at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Central heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Thursday. They came up short against Kennewick, falling 3-0. North Central's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Southridge fell victim to Ridgeline and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Southridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for North Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1.

North Central beat Southridge by a goal when the teams last played back in May of 2022, winning 1-0. Will the Wolfpack repeat their success, or do the Suns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
