Basketball Recap: Fideles Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Xander Lipinski and Hudson Blackstock

Fideles Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 52-41 to the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors. The match marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fideles Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Hudson Blackstock and Xander Lipinski. Blackstock posted 11 points and seven rebounds, while Lipinski went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points. Lipinski's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Fideles Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Horizon Christian Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Fideles Christian and Horizon Christian Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Fideles Christian (ranked 422nd) will meet The King's Academy (ranked 157th) at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Horizon Christian Academy (ranked 270th) will meet The Grace Christian Academy (ranked 96th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
