Soccer Game Preview: Mingus vs. Flagstaff

Mingus hasn't had much luck against Flagstaff recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Marauders will square off against the Eagles at 3:00 p.m.

Mingus had taken Lee Williams down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Marauders lost 4-1 to the Volunteers.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Flagstaff took on Mohave on Thursday. The Eagles never let the Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Flagstaff's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 4-7-1. As for Mingus, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Mingus skirted past Flagstaff 2-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
