Volleyball Recap: New Berlin West Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for New Berlin West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the West Bend West Spartans on Saturday. The Vikings were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Spartans, so the Vikings were just returning the favor.

New Berlin West never let West Bend West on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23.

New Berlin West's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for West Bend West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

New Berlin West will face off against Pius XI Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Bend West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Catholic Memorial on the 13th.
