Football Recap: Eisenhower Eagles vs. Lawton Wolverines

Eisenhower had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Lawton Wolverines on Friday. Lawton was led to victory by Quovon Coston and Joseph Simpson. Coston rushed for 113 yards and three TDs on only ten carries, while Simpson rushed for 132 yards and one score on only nine carries. Simpson's longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Looking ahead, Eisenhower will square off against MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawton, they will face off against Enid at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
