Basketball Recap: River Falls Comes Up Short

After flying high against New Richmond on Thursday, River Falls came back down to earth. The River Falls Wildcats were outmatched by the Blaine Bengals and fell 72-30.

River Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Blaine, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Coming up, River Falls will be playing at home against Eau Claire North at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blaine, they have already played their next game, a 72-30 victory against Thief River Falls on the 7th.
