Football Game Preview: Sheridan Generals vs. Philo Electrics

The Sheridan Generals will venture away from home to square off against the Philo Electrics at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Sheridan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past River View, posting a 63-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Philo made easy work of Crooksville on Friday and carried off a 36-12 win. The Electrics pushed the score to 36-3 by the end of the third, a deficit the Ceramics cut but never quite recovered from.

Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Philo, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Sheridan strolled past Philo in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Generals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
