East Valley's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Vaughn White Tigers as the East Valley Falcons made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

East Valley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 25-15.

The win got East Valley back to even at 8-8. As for Vaughn, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, East Valley will welcome Sherman Oaks CES at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vaughn, they will venture away from home to take on Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Vaughn surely won't give up without a fight.
