Basketball Recap: K'miyah Foulk's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jonesboro over Northside

Jonesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northside Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-52 back in January.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was K'Miyah Foulk, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Carmyn Bowden, who earned nine points.

Jonesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Northside, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10.

Jonesboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-39 loss against Griffin on the 7th. As for Northside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-40 victory against Mundy's Mill on the 6th.
