Baseball Recap: Southeast Alamance Comes Up Short

The Southeast Alamance Mascot didn't have quite enough to beat the Wake County HomeSchool Warriors on Tuesday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Mascot have lost by just one run.

Southeast Alamance has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Wake County HomeSchool, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Southeast Alamance is taking a road trip to take on Southwestern Randolph at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wake County HomeSchool, they will take on Winston Salem Christian in a tournament on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
