D'Evelyn is a perfect 3-0 against Pomona since November of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. D'Evelyn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.

D'Evelyn easily dispatched Wheat Ridge on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. D'Evelyn fell just short of Standley Lake by a score of 45-43 on Thursday.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ellie McMann, who posted ten points along with seven rebounds and six assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Hazel Hermes was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

Even though they lost, D'Evelyn smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Conifer, falling 59-35.

D'Evelyn has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 18-3 record this season. As for Pomona, their record now sits at 3-18.

Everything came up roses for D'Evelyn against Pomona when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 59-16 victory. Does D'Evelyn have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pomona turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
