Softball Recap: Wallington Wins Going Away Against Hoboken

While Wallington put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Hoboken. The Panthers put the hurt on the Redwings with a sharp 10-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Wallington has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hoboken, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Wallington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-0 defeat against Ramsey on the 7th. As for Hoboken, they will challenge Montclair on Friday.
