Volleyball Recap: Lake Highlands Gets the Win

Lake Highlands won the last time they faced Emerson and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mavericks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Their offense was headlined by Hailey Jacobus and Elle Holley, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Carrigan Anderly and her nine assists. Jacobus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win got Lake Highlands back to even at 3-3. As for Emerson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Lake Highlands has already played their next matchup (against Wilson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Emerson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Midway on the 22nd.
