Basketball Recap: Langley Find Success

Colonial Forge typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Langley proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Colonial Forge Eagles with a 56-52 win.

Colonial Forge lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jayden Morris, who posted 21 points. Morris continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Finn Perschau was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight boards.

Langley's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Colonial Forge, they moved to 15-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Langley has already played their next game (against George C. Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Colonial Forge has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against North Stafford.
