Basketball Game Preview: Ridgemont Golden Gophers vs. Mt. Gilead Indians

The Ridgemont Golden Gophers will face off against the Mt. Gilead Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ridgemont is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Ridgemont came up short against Northmor and fell 50-37.

Meanwhile, Mt. Gilead came into Saturday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Elgin 56-39 on Saturday.

Ridgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Mt. Gilead, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

Ridgemont was taken down by Mt. Gilead 54-23 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ridgemont was down 39-9.
