Pecos benefitted from Salinas in 28-4 win
While Tuesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Noah Salinas. He was dynamite on Tuesday, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple.
Salinas' strong effort led Pecos over Penasco and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pecos is 7-1 against Penasco going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
