Soccer Game Preview: Lowell vs. San Francisco International

The Lowell Cardinals will face off against the San Francisco International Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lowell will be strutting in after a victory while San Francisco International will be coming in after a loss.

Lowell took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Washington a 2-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, San Francisco International didn't have quite enough to beat Mission on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Lowell's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matches. As for San Francisco International, they now have a losing record at 3-4-3.
