Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union City). Everything went their way against the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers on Thursday as they made off with a 23-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won six in a row.

Kaegann Gregor was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
