Goldsboro had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They breezed past the Rosewood Eagles to the tune of 69-35. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Jabri'On Bynum-Armstrong went supernova, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Maurice Tyler, who posted eight points.

Goldsboro smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.

Goldsboro's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Rosewood, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
