It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lancaster ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Platteville Hillmen, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Flying Arrows have posted against the Hillmen since April 4, 2019.
Lancaster's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Addison Morgan, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
The victory got Lancaster back to even at 9-9. As for Platteville, they dropped their record down to 9-12 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
