Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Starts Season with Loss at Home

Rocky Mount unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Nash Central Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.

Rocky Mount was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-18.

Coming up, Rocky Mount will challenge J.F. Webb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nash Central, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Southern Nash at 5:00 p.m.
