Rodriguez hadn't done well against Vanden recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The Mustangs were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Vikings, so the Mustangs were just returning the favor.

Rodriguez's got stronger as the match went on, holding Vanden to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 25-10.
