Football Recap: New Kent Takes a Loss + How To Watch

New Kent lost against Lafayette back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans had to suffer through a 35-8 loss at the hands of the Rams. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

When it comes to explaining why New Kent lost, don't look at Sherman ''Trey'' Wynn. Despite the final result, he rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

This is the second loss in a row for New Kent and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Lafayette, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
