Baseball Recap: John Hay Comes Up Short

Max S. Hayes hit John Hay with a 13-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. John Hay came up short against Max S. Hayes, falling 18-3. John Hay was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Max S. Hayes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

John Hay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was De'Charion Williams, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Erek Williams was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

John Hay dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Max S. Hayes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.
