Softball Game Preview: Williamsburg Blue Pirates vs. Tussey Mountain Titans

The Williamsburg Blue Pirates will face off against the Tussey Mountain Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Williamsburg comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Williamsburg's offense. They came up short against Juniata Valley on Monday, falling 10-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Blue Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Williamsburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Stromyar, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Stromyar hit this season.

Meanwhile, Tussey Mountain unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Southern Fulton by a score of 2-1.

Adyson Weyandt was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Tussey Mountain now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Williamsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
