You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Higley's strategy against Corona del Sol on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Higley Knights blew the Corona del Sol Aztecs out of the water with an 86-38 final score. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Higley was led to victory by Noah Gloor and Donovan Dabney. Gloor went 9 of 17 on his way to 24 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds, while Dabney dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards. Dabney's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Gavin Dabney was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Higley was working as a unit and finished the game with 29 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory made it two in a row for Higley and bumps their season record up to 12-4. As for Corona del Sol, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

Higley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-49 win against ALA - Queen Creek on the 21st. As for Corona del Sol, they will face off against Desert Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
