Basketball Recap: Southside Takes a Loss

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 65-50 fall against the Boaz Pirates. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 59-42.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Boaz, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-17.

Southside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-54 loss against Hokes Bluff on the 28th. As for Boaz, they will welcome Kate Duncan Smith DAR at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
