Soccer Game Preview: Walkersville vs. Poolesville

The Walkersville Lions will take on the Poolesville Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Walkersville is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering South Carroll just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the Cavaliers. Walkersville were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Isabel Vanderau, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Poolesville has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 29. They came up short against Sherwood on Friday, falling 9-3.

Walkersville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Poolesville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
