If Oak Grove wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Indian Springs, they should've done a better job of containing Dylan Heald. The Indian Springs Student blew past the Oak Grove Tigers 68-44 on Tuesday thanks in part to Heald, who posted 37 points. He has been hot, having posted 18 or more points the last seven times he's played.
The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Simms, who scored 14 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
Despite the loss, Oak Grove still got an impressive performance from Kyler Pollistrini, who put up 15 points. The dominant performance gave Pollistrini a new career-high in points.
Indian Springs now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Oak Grove, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-19-1.
Indian Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 85-48 loss against Fairfield on the 23rd. Oak Grove has also already played their next game, a 67-64 defeat against Sumiton Christian on the 23rd.
