Clovis East managed to slip by Central East the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Timberwolves lost 8-2 to the Bengals on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Timberwolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Clovis East has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Central East, their record is now 7-16.

While Clovis East had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
