Basketball Game Preview: Klein Oak Panthers vs. Tomball Cougars

The Klein Oak Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Tomball Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein Oak has given up an average of 50.7 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Klein Oak and Klein Collins had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers lost 64-39 to the Tigers on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Tomball not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 19, 2025 (when they won 63-30). Everything went their way against Klein as they made off with a 47-27 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Klein Oak's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Tomball, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Klein Oak skirted past Tomball 46-44 when the teams last played back in December of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
