Volleyball Recap: Delphi Community Comes Up Short

Delphi Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton Central Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Oracles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Delphi Community ultimately came up short, they really made Clinton Central work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 20-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Delphi Community still got an impressive performance from Jansen Brown, who had 19 digs. Sami Leopard was another key player, getting eight assists and seven digs.

Delphi Community's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Clinton Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Delphi Community has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Taylor on the 29th. As for Clinton Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Guerin Catholic on the 27th.
