Soccer Recap: Decatur Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Decatur Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Lincoln Railsplitters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Decatur Eisenhower of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Decatur Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Decatur Eisenhower will challenge East Peoria at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Decatur Eisenhower will be up against East Peoria's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.81 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lincoln, they will face off against Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monticello will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight.
